Record
The device records the surrounding environment through 3 microphones, to have greater coverage and triangulate the signal.

Classify
The Deep Learning algorithm classifies the sound or voice command, previously chosen by the user. The distinction of the caller is made through an analysis of the tone of the voice.

The perceived sound and the direction of arrival are communicated to the deaf person through differentiated vibrations.

Haptear is supported by the Lazio Region and Lazioinnova through the POR FESR Pre Seed Plus instrument. Betadynamiq is leveraging it to create a marketing and strategic strategy.
Haptear is a project under development, carried out by a diverse team of engineers, designers and Sign Language communication specialists.
Haptear is seeking funding to finalize the device, with the aim of realizing its vision of inclusion and improving the lives of deaf people.
